About Keith Young Engraving

Keith Young Engraving was born out of the desire to laser engrave my logo on my handmade knives and sheaths.  With the purchase of the Epilog CO2 Laser, I was able to offer engraved items on wood, tile, aluminum, and drinkware.  Subsequently, I found that there was a market for fine-detail engraving on metals, such as jewelry and firearms, so I purchased a fiber laser which allows me to offer that service as well.

Originating in 2016 as a part-time hobby, I established a following by attending craft/vendor events and farmers’ markets and working with local business to display my items. 

In 2019, my wife and I purchased a new location in the heart of Harrisville and decided to make the business a full-time venture.

We live and breath the small, local business life and, with customer support, we have been able to grow and make improvements to our business each year. 

Last year, we were able to add a new laser to our production line, which has allowed us to make larger signs and double our engraving output ability.

Many of our designs and items that we offer are ones we develop ourselves.  We have several Keith Young Engraving original designs that we are very proud of – Leaves of Love Family Tree Decoration, Leaves of Love Family Tree Ornament, Acrylic Lake/River Map Signs, and ADK Challenge Signs and Waterbottles to name a few.  Custom orders make up about 50% of our business, and we very much enjoy working with customers on a special design for them or their loved one to give the item uniqueness.  Our motto is there are Endless Engraving Opportunities! 

If you are looking to purchase our items in person, there are a number of places were you can find us.  Our store front is located at 14215 State Street, Harrisville, NY 13648.  During the market and vending season (usually April to December), you can find us at various vendor events and locations around the North Country, such as the Farmers’ Markets in Harrisville, Watertown, and Clayton and craft fairs and shows.  Our items can also be found at the following local businesses – Bonaparte Wine and Liquor, Bonaparte Retreat, and Chuck’s Market in Harrisville; Foothills Market in Lowville; Adirondack Rustics in Oswegatchie; The 315 Artisan Market by Autumn in the Salmon Run Mall, Watertown.
